Portland, Oregon (July 13, 2022)— John’s Marketplace has been recognized as the 2022 #1 Best Bottle Shop, by Willamette Week readers in the “Best of Portland” annual issue. Every year thousands of Portland readers vote for their favorite businesses, places and people. The past two “Best of Portland” issues featured people and businesses that were creatively enduring the pandemic. This year, Willamette Week chose seven categories of people and businesses that best reflect the activities of Portland residents as they emerge from quarantine.

This year the seven categories are People, Food, Arts and Entertainment, Cannabis, Health and Wellness, Drink, and Goods and Services. In each category there are subcategories of winners. In the Goods and Services category, the subcategory for Best Bottle Shop announced John’s Marketplace as the winner.

“We are honored to receive this award because our customers voted for us,” said Rob Petros, co-owner of John’s Marketplace. “We strive to be a Bottle Shop 'for the people' and this recognition shows us we are on the right path.”
